|
| HOW TO MEASURE YOUR
ACTIVE SI BELT® SIZE |
To determine your size, measure your hip
circumference at the level of where your hip joint bends.
.
Using the chart below, determine what size belt you will
require. |
| ACTIVE SI
BELT® - Hip Circumference |
| Small |
Medium |
Large |
X-Large |
| 26 - 33" |
34 - 42" |
43 - 52" |
53 - 62" |
|
If you are between sizes:
- Use smaller size if you want to get
the most support by stretching the belt significantly.
Usually appropriate for more athletic population.
- Use larger size if you are looking
for moderate support where you do not have to stretch
the belt much. Usually appropriate for less active
population.
|
|
| HOW TO USE THE ACTIVE SI BELT® |
- POSITION low on hips so the narrow belt
is level with where your hip joint bends.
- STRETCH the flexible Neoprene belt out to
the sides before placing around hips.
- SECURE Neoprene belt in front with Velcro®.
- ADJUST narrow belt for snug, comfortable
support and buckle in front.
|
|
| FITTING AND USAGE TIPS |
BEFORE IT IS STRETCHED the flexible Neoprene
belt will probably be smaller than the circumference
of your hips. It is designed this way - to be stretched
before being placed around hips and secured in front.
This will provide you with the snug ‘double-belt’
support that is most effective in treating sacroiliac
joint pain and instability.
BEFORE BUCKLING the narrow belt, adjust the
length of the belt so it will apply additional (snug
but comfortable) compression around the pelvis when
buckled.
WEAR OVER COTTON UNDERWEAR.
Do not wear the belt in contact with your skin, you
could experience skin irritation.
THE BELT WILL STAY IN PLACE BEST IF:
- It is worn low around the hips.
- The narrow Nylon belt is tightened so there is
a snug but comfortable fit.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Hand wash with mild soap and warm water, air dry.

|
| PRECAUTIONS |

IMPORTANT – READ BEFORE USING BELT
